Vecauce Evangelic Lutheran church is an architectural monument of national significance. In the beginning it was a wooden building built in 1667.
In 1729 the tower was struck by lightning and the church burned down.
The brick church was built in 1866. Its interior is interesting. The visitors are offered to go on an informative tour along the church Advance reservation requested.

Auce Roman Catholic Church is attractive with its original wooden decoration and interior. The Church is built and consecrated in 1938.It is a wooden building, 20 meters tall, 10 meters wide and 2.5 meters high, with a tin roof without a tower. Above the entrance, there is an iron cross on the roof. A building with a partition is divided into halves, one at the end of which is a church, and the other is an apartment and a sacristy. From outside, the church is sewn with boards. A big cross of Misses has been set up in the garden. A view of the Our Lady's grotto, where St. Mary appeared. Advance reservation requested.

The first information about the church dates back to 1682. Two church bells date back to 1686, wich means that the church tower had already been built at that time. During the time the church has been repaired many times.
The Congregation of Īle regained the church in the 90s of the 20th century. Only the walls of the church and some individual paintings of them have been preserved until today. On 10 June, 2016, the conductor Ints Teterovskis and the youth choir “Balsis” gave a concert “Discover Īle Church again” at Īle church within “Church night 2016” and opened the church to visitors for the first time in more than 50 years.
