Gustavs Vanags (1891- 1965) was an outstanding chemist and scientist of Latvia. Memorial stone is put in the place where his home „Rungas” once was. “Rungas” is located on 11th kilometer of  autoroad Bēne—Ukri.
 

Memorial mark to Ludvigs Teteris
Aspazijas square 2, Auce
The mark was unveiled on July 28, 2005 to the strong personality of Auce and the former head of the farm “Vecauce“. The mark was made by sculptor Gļebs Pantaļējevs.


Monument to Auce fighters
The Brother’s cemetery is a buriel ground of 1664 fallen soldiers who fought and gave their lives for  Auce. In 1950 Auce fighters’ monument was revealed. The sculptor  – Vladimirs Rapiķis. The monument is located on the left when entering Auce from Jelgava side.

In 1911 the count dies on his way to Germany. His last wish is to rest  in Vecauce and he is burried near the Vecauce church.


Memorial Stone to Krišjānis Barons (Father of Latvian folk songs)
Krišjānis Barons lived at the farm house „Burtnieki” from 1837 – 1845.
 

Monument dedicated to the first battle of the battalion of O. Kalpaks
On August 19, 1934, a monument at the first battle sight of O. Kalpaks battalion (night between January 15 and 16, 1919) was opened at Lielauce lutheran church (the architect P.Dreimanis). At that place two companies drove off the attack of the Bolshevik battalion and cavalry squadron. At the beginning of 50s the monument was demolished. In 1991 it was renewed.
 

A memorial stone for communist terror victims
A memorial stone for communist terror victims is located in Auces railway station and it was  revealed in 25 of March in 1989.


Memorial Place to Holocaust victims
On 9 October 2003 in the forest of Putni near Auce, the Council of Jewish Communities of Latvia erected a monument on the site of massacre.
On 11 July 1941, 100 Jewish residents of Auce were murdered in the forest of Putni, now located within the territory of the Lielauce parish. An inscription in Hebrew, Latvian and in English is engraved on the monument: “Here on July 11th, 1941 Nazi occupants and their accomplices murdered around one hundred people from Auce only because they were Jews. Remember to never let that crime happen again!”. In 2008 one more memorial stone was placed next to the monument – to commemorate the family of the shot doctor M. Zaliman, which was murdered separately in the Mazēnu Forest, because the family was temporarily staying in Sniķere parish.
